Daddy Cuddle, written by Kate Mayes and illustrated by myself is out this month!   We are accustomed to visits from early morning risers in our house and I very much enjoyed working on Kate's gorgeous story of a little rabbit who is determined to wake up daddy to play. Here are are some of the initial pencil drawings in my sketchbook...  character sketches...  and concept sketches.  This is how I remember my day starting, when my daughter moved out of her cot into a big bed - VERY EARLY!! Here's Kate talking about writing, books and Daddy Cuddle. |
